2012 IC Invitational Doubles LeagueWe are once again set for some enjoyable team tennis for early 2012 with the same five teams back again and the same format that has proved popular and practical for the last three years.
The one change for 2012 is a new Captain/organiser for the NTC Junior team we invite to pit their youth against the skills of some of our older players ... and yes I am one of those older players! In this former respect we welcome Lester Cox who has kindly offered to run the NTC team. Lester is a former no.1 squash player in The Bahamas who is now working on transferring his skills to the tennis courts. This means each team will have two weeks in the schedule without matches. I look forward to the Captains doing the same excellent job as prior years and to some good tennis played in the enjoyable and sporting manner of the IC tennis tradition. Kit Spencer |
