IC of The Bahamas

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped in the recent visit of The Uruguay IC to us. 
 
I think both the tennis and the social activities proved to be great fun as will be evidenced by some of the attached photos !
 
The tango exhibition by Uruguay on their last evening dinner at which some of us joined them was a great finale. 
 
Their trip lived up well to the IC motto of " Hands across the net, friendship across the ocean". 
 
Perhaps we should consider our own trip to Uruguay at some future date?
 
Meanwhile please remember the dates of 9th- 15th January 2011 when we are planning to have 8 country teams here for a "Doubles Week in The Bahamas."  More details soon I hope.

Dear Kit,

Back home  already for a few days, I would like, on behalf of the ITC of Uruguay, of Julio Lacarte, our president, of Hugo Altamirano, our V.P and of all our players who traveled to your country, to thank you again Kit , your wife Lesley and all of our friends from The Bahamas, for such a warm hospitality.

We enjoyed our stay from the beginning - the wonderful and friendly cocktail party at your home- to our last dinner, and of course all the tennis games we had with your people. I think that the motto of the ILTC  "Hands across the net, friendship across the ocean" was 100% fulfilled.

As we mentioned it, we would love to have you come down here with members of the ITC Bahamas. We will have to work on that project.
